Elektrobit India (EB) truly lived this when they created a personalised gifting experience for all employees.
An award-winning global supplier of connected software products and services for the automotive industry, EB has a global team of 3500 employees, including a team of 400 people in India.
EB partnered with us to create a dedicated Celebration portal for its employees. The portal had three hampers curated by the organisation. Employees could choose the hamper as per their preference.
In 2021, EB marked its 5th Anniversary and wanted to celebrate it in a big way. However, the lockdown restrictions required the entire team to work remotely. There was no scope to have a physical celebration. To add a tangible element to the celebration, it was decided to give gifts to the entire workforce. But that brought unique challenges:
- Procuring gifts from different vendors through offline channels resulted in a lot of email exchange and coordination over phone calls, resulting in a loss of productive hours.
- The offline method did not let the employees choose. Everyone got the same present. The one-gift-for-all approach lacked the power of choice.
- Distributing gifts to each person would mean the HR team collecting delivery addresses from each person.
Celebration offered a perfect corporate gifting solution
EB partnered with us to create a dedicated Celebration portal for its employees. The portal had three hampers curated by the organisation. Employees could choose the hamper as per their preference. Each employee would login to the portal with OTP, select the hamper and mention the delivery address. We delivered each gift in custom branded wrapping paper along with a note from the management.
